There are just a few spaces in the Saturday Afternoon workshop – Shamanic Ancestral Healing: Letting Go of What’s Not Yours.

The session will include simple yoga and meditation to open the body and mind, followed by shamanic journeying to find Ancestral Healing Guides.

The workshop is about creating awareness of what has helped to shape how we think, what we believe and how we act. Then letting go of stuff that doesn't help us, and celebrating that which does.

It's just over a week to go until the next Saturday Afternoon workshop – Shamanic Ancestral Healing: Letting Go of What’s Not Yours.

We’ll begin gently, with simple yoga and meditation to settle the body and quieten the mind. From there, we open the door to a deeper exploration.

Much of what shapes how we think and behave sits below the surface — inherited patterns, old stories, ways of reacting that may not truly belong to us. This session is about bringing those into awareness… and then letting them go.

Out with the old, in with the new — but with clarity, so we don’t just dress the old in different clothes.

Join me on Saturday 25th April from 2pm for a relaxed, down-to-earth workshop exploring the shamanic practice of ancestral healing.

It's about exploring patterns, beliefs, the ways we react to the world. Some help. Others quietly hold us back.

Through simple guided practices, you’ll start to notice what’s been shaping you—and how to change it, if thats the right thing to do.

(Certain world leaders are eligible for a free session or sessions...however many it takes)

No overthinking. Just awareness, clarity, and a chance to move forward feeling lighter and more like yourself.

🌱Congratulations… you’ve made it to spring!

After the darker months, this is the perfect time to pause, reset and reconnect with a sense of lightness and joy.

Join me on Saturday 28th March at 2pm at the Stockport Quaker Meeting House for a special yoga workshop:

✨ Experiencing the Joy of Spring

This gentle and uplifting afternoon will include:
• A simple cacao ceremony
• Relaxing yoga movement
• Laughter yoga (if you’re thinking eek, don’t worry — it’s really just another form of breathwork!)
• Deep relaxation and meditation

Together these practices help release winter tension, open the heart and gently awaken the body as we step into a new season.

The workshop is suitable for all levels and focuses on ease, presence and enjoyment rather than intensity. It’s a chance to stretch, breathe, laugh and reconnect with the simple pleasure of being alive.

😱Move from stressed to relaxed in my workshop:

FINDING CALM IN A HECTIC WORLD

It will be at 2pm on Saturday 28th February and is about moving towards stillness using Yin Yoga practice.

This is a practice where we hold the yoga postures for a few minutes to open up the deep connective tissue in the body.

We are still, we breathe and we deepen. And then we will move into a meditation practice designed to untangle ourself from our thoughts.
....and then we have tea and cakes.

This is the time of year when we’re inundated with fresh intentions but the truth is we can set intentions any time. Each breath is an opportunity to open up and allow the heart to express itself.

I always feel there is too much pressure with intentions, that's why I keep mine nice and small and easy. Everything in moderation, and all of a sudden these small changes make a big impact. Well, that's my experience for what its worth.

As you will know if you've ever been, I do like a good breather in my yoga sessions and here's one of my favourite practices.

There's a lot of emphasis these days on 'extreme everything' whether its breathing, yoga postures which are more like contortions, eating a gzillion hot dogs in 10 minutes, shoving a hundred ice cubes down your pants...you get the gist....

But all yoga and all life, for that matter, is about finding that balance between effort and ease. Not too much not too little.

See if you can do this practice without pushing or straining the breathe or the body.

In this guided session, you’ll learn a simple breathing pattern that activates the diaphragm, boosts oxygen efficiency, calms the nervous system and leaves you feeling centred and energised. This practice is done lying down, making it perfect for beginners, stiff bodies, or anyone dealing with stress or fatigue.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through controlled inhales, holds and slow exhales that help reset the mind, reduce tension and improve focus. This is an ideal routine before training, after a long day, or any time you want a mental and physical reset.

I’ve just released a brand new Morning Yoga Nidra video on my YouTube channel, and it’s designed to help you start the day with a clear mind, steady energy, and a positive intention.

Personally, I find it helpful to start the day peacefully with a few yoga stretches, a bit of breathing and then 15, 20 or more minutes of meditation. Then the day is set up.

In this short guided practice, I’ll lead you through breath awareness, deep relaxation and a moment of intention-setting to help you step into the day with purpose. It’s simple, soothing and genuinely transformative.
