Earlier this week posted a 20 minute yoga practice focussing on core strength - abdomen, glutes, quads...

I've also produced a session focussing on back strength which you can see below.

This session includes an important Pain Relief Posture know as a Sacroiliac Stabiliser which is really handy if you ever have a back pain episode.

All of the videos on my YouTube channel are designed for people who want to stay active and use simple yoga and meditation practices to support their running golf, tennis etc.

What I've been pondering this week....

The world does seem to be a 'tad hectic' at the moment and the tendency is to be on high alert, consume the news and generally rush around in a panic. But really, the opposite is much more satisfying for the soul - relax a little, turn off the radio and slow down.

Do some yoga, take a walk in nature, do a roly poly (have you seen my latest YouTube post?)...anything really, to bring joy.

So if you fancy coming to a yoga class but can't afford it for whatever reason, let me know and I'll sneak you in

I heard a great quote this week...

"Outside of your comfort zone is where the magic happens".

I like that a lot.

If you've not been to a class for a while, I do hope that you are keeping yourself mobile and flexible, and of course including some strength exercises to keep the body toned.

From my experience, the most difficult part of doing anything is that first step, getting the yoga mat out or the running shoes on, whatever. Once that first move out of the comfort zone is made, it's easy. And the magic does happen, guaranteed.

In general my sessions are designed to keep you flexible and agile, with focus on key yoga practices to support your body’s strength and resilience. This includes a mix of targeted stretches to increase joint mobility and help prevent those stubborn aches and pains that can get in the way.

I really hope that you can join me to feel the difference in your body and mind, and keep moving, strong and steady 🤸‍♀️

The first half of the session will be yoga postures to open up and strength the body and the second half will be breathwork, relaxation and meditation.
