1. NHS App
2. Through text message reminders

Please be aware that we are becoming stricter with patients who repeatedly do not attend. Warnings will be sent out, and continued missed appointments may result in further action.

From September, the NHS will start sending negative cervical screening results directly to your NHS App ๐Ÿ“ฒ.

Hereโ€™s how it will work:
- If your result is negative, youโ€™ll get a message in your NHS App and a notification.
- If you donโ€™t read the message within 72 hours, youโ€™ll receive a letter in the post as a back-up.
- If your result is abnormal, youโ€™ll still receive a letter by post.

Tip: Make sure your NHS App is downloaded and your notifications are turned on so you can see your results quickly and easily.

Download the NHS App here:

Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.

Taking antibiotics when you donโ€™t need them puts both you and others at risk. Resistance to antibiotics is a growing concern, and itโ€™s important that we control usage to keep them working for when theyโ€™re really needed.

In some cases, you may not need an antibiotic so ensure you trust your Doctor, Nurse or Pharmacistโ€™s advice as to when theyโ€™re required. Take antibiotics as directed and never save them for later use or share them with others.
