I was honoured on Tuesday to join the Greave Primary School Aspirations Day event. Showcasing the world of optometry to a new generation. The pupils were polite, creative and full of fun! Plenty of questions asked as we discovered about an eye test, how lenses work and tried on the giant glasses. They found out how I came to do my job (an event like this), what I liked about it (the people) and what my favourite biscuits are (garibaldi)! Next time I’ll bring Garibaldi biscuits to share! 😃

Ok, enough of the bad puns! This news story about glare and dazzle when driving caught my eye today. I have had this same conversation with more than half of my patients this year with a good few telling me they were giving up driving at night.
