As the year comes to a close, we thought we would take a look at what a great year 2023 has been at JCM. We have loved having you as part of our journey!
We really kicked 2023 off with a bang with our charity initiatives, and started off BIG in January where we helped a local Primary School make their breakout rooms more welcoming and relaxing. Our team spent three days in a Changing Rooms style effort and transformed the spaces into wonderful sensory rooms - and we had incredible feedback from the teachers and kids!
In February Sara completed the Work Mental Health First Aid Course. This is one of the ways we have invested in our team's wellbeing. We value our team and our clients so much and we're happy that we can take the time to upskill ourselves on a course such as this to ensure we're showing up for them every day.
Throughout 2023 we have strengthened our relationship with Chelwood Food Bank. We are committed to helping local charitable causes, and we are proud to help out where we can.
July saw our first networking event 'Unleash the power of your business with Zoho CRM'. We held this event at the Stockport Innovations Centre in Reddish, and we held an amazing session where small businesses were given the space and tools to help them work on process mapping and uncover how Zoho One can help their business.
July was a super exciting month for JCM, as the JCM Charitable Foundation was officially registered as a charity. We are looking forward about the good work we will be doing around this, and 2024 will be a great year for the Charity.
In July we joined the fabulous Marketing Stockport group. We are so pleased to now be part of Marketing Stockport which helps businesses in Stockport share news and make connections within the borough.
In September we proudly became a Supporter of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter. By becoming a supporter of the charter, we have made a commitment to improving practice in all characteristics of good employment. The charter is driven to develop diverse, equal and truly inclusive working conditions across Greater Manchester through their framework of seven characteristics of good employment.
We also became a Living Wage accredited employer - again showing how we value our team.
October really was a special month for Team JCM, when we won Family Business of the Year at the Stockport Business Awards. We were beyond thrilled to win this award, and so proud of our team. We had a wonderful time at the awards, and it really was a celebration of what we had achieved.
October also brought the Manchester Zoho Community Meet Up! It was fabulous to be back at the People's History Musesum again, offering our clients a full day of free Zoho training on solving common business challenges with Zoho and also using Zoho marketing automations.
As the year comes to a close we are so proud of what we have achieved in 2023, but also super excited about 2024.
