I've been a little quiet on this channel! I'm very busy over at creating some amazing content for all women in yoga whether you're new or a teacher!

I'm also working hard at creating our new CIC with the amazing and don't forget you can also get incredible crystals from Lucy

With the launch of this exciting venture I want to hear from the women of Stockport and surrounding areas. What do we NEED for both physical and mental health? Classes, workshops, online courses or in person? Networking, training?

Orange Bloom Yoga Studio is closing down to make way for

This is a project I am so unbelievably excited about.

Myself, Meg Hill and Lucy Connor have been working hard behind the scenes to launch our Community Interest Company (CIC), inspireHER. This is more than just a name change—it’s a movement dedicated to empowering women in Stockport through connection, collaboration, and well-being.

From April 1st, inspireHER will officially launch!!

What is InspireHER?

We are building a hub for women at every stage of life—from pregnancy through to motherhood, career changes, menopause, and beyond. Our goal is to create a space where women feel supported, uplifted, and connected. We’ll be expanding to offer a wide range of classes, workshops, events, and community groups, alongside our existing yoga and well-being sessions. There will also be mixed gender classes as there are now.

We are applying for funding to make inspireHER sustainable and accessible to all women. In the meantime, we need your help with our GoFundMe to cover essential set-up costs.

Take time away from screens for a digital detox. Constant digital exposure can increase stress and anxiety levels. A University of Pennsylvania study shows that limiting social media use improves emotional well-being.

I personally set my phone to go to bedtime mode at 8pm and not come on until 7am so I am not tempted by late night scrolling. I have also set time limits on my social media apps!

Living with Menopause Symptoms and want to know how to help?

This mini afternoon retreat will be an exploration of all the holistic and non-medical interventions you can do to help your menopause symptoms - many of them FREE!!!

Our welcoming and non-judgemental space isn't about the anti-HRT, you are welcome to join if you have the coil, are taking HRT or even if you are simply exploring all options. This is about all the FREE and easy things you can do to alleviate many of the most life affecting symptoms. Such as;
- Sleep
- Anxiety
- Rage and anger
- Mood swings
- Hot flashes
- Bone density issues
- Memory loss and brain fog.

Everyone going through menopause will have a different journey. You may have had medical intervention such as a hysterectomy or maybe you have approached menopause slowly. Perhaps you aren't even sure if menopause is currently happening but you have many of the symptoms! You are welcome to this relaxed and nourishing afternoon.

What will we cover?
We will aim to explore many different holistic treatments and lifestyle elements that have been scientifically proven to help with menopause symptoms. Here is just a sneak preview of what will be on offer;
- Movement and Somatics - how we can strength our bones whilst clearing our minds
- Meditation for Meno brain - how quick dips into meditation can help with brain fog
- Food, gut and nutrition - the easy wins for stabilising symptoms
- Stress, sleep and s*x - how its all connected and what we can do!

This afternoon will be hosted by Helen, director of Orange Bloom, Women's Health Practitioner and Menopause Yoga specialist! If you have any questions before hand do reach out so we can make you feel more comfortable.
