🐦🌿 One-to-One Bird Watching Activity 🌿🐦

Today we enjoyed a one-to-one bird watching session, observing the birds visiting our garden from the comfort of indoors. A spotting sheet was used to identify and mark off the different birds seen.

This simple and calming activity supported relaxation, focus, and engagement with nature, providing meaningful one-to-one time in a comfortable setting.

🍑🍐 Baking Smiles Today! 🍐🍑

We had a lovely baking session today, with our residents making delicious peach and pear puffs, finishing them with their own techniques!

It was a relaxing and enjoyable activity, and the finished treats went down a treat at tea time 😋

A big well done to everyone who took part! 💛

Tickets are just £1 each, and once ticket sales close, one ticket will be drawn at random.

We are seeking a Bank Cook to prepare nutritious meals for our care home residents.

Key duties include:
Cooking meals to menu and dietary requirements
Maintaining food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements:
Previous cooking experience (care home experience preferred)
Knowledge of food hygiene and special diets
Reliable and flexible availability at weekends
