Following the recent meningitis outbreak in Kent, we understand many patients may feel concerned.
The MenB vaccine has been part of the UK’s routine childhood vaccination schedule since 2015. Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer this vaccine outside of the national programme for those born before this time.

🦠 Meningitis can develop very quickly and can become life-threatening within hours. Early action can save lives.
⚠️ Symptoms can easily be mistaken for flu, a hangover, or a cold. Trust your instincts and seek help immediately if something doesn’t feel right.
What you can do:
✔️ Don’t ignore symptoms in yourself or others
✔️ Avoid sharing drinks, vapes, or utensils
✔️ Check on friends or family who are unwell
✔️ Call NHS 111 or attend A&E urgently if concerned
