On 19th April, Jordan Gresty and Ross Jackson will be standing on the start line of the Manchester Marathon. 🤯
Jordan is raising money for the Alzheimer's Society, a cause that’s deeply personal to him, here's what he had to say:
"I’m running for my superhero, my rock, my constant source of love and inspiration. My incredible Nan. Whose warmth, courage, and strength helped shape the person I am today. I wouldn't be the person I am today without her.
Whilst training for this marathon, my Nan sadly passed away. It’s made this challenge mean even more to me. What started as a run in support of her has now become something deeper. Running in her memory, and in honour of the amazing person she was.
Dementia is a cruel illness. It can steal memories, change personalities, and break hearts. But it will never erase the love, laughter, and the memories we hold close.
Every mile I run will be in honour of those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and every family navigating the heartbreak of this disease."

Ross first started running to improve both his mental and physical health. Over time, his dedication has paid off — losing over 2 stone and experiencing a real boost in his overall wellbeing.
But his biggest transformation wasn’t just physical. Running became something he genuinely enjoys, leading him to take on his biggest challenge yet: completing a marathon.
