This patient presented with a discolored front tooth caused by internal bruising — something we commonly see after trauma to the tooth. While the tooth was still healthy and stable, the color had darkened compared to the surrounding teeth, affecting the overall smile.

Treatment plan:

✔️ At-home whitening using Philips Zoom to blend the shade of the surrounding teeth

By combining professional external whitening with a structured home whitening program, we were able to brighten the entire smile and significantly improve the appearance of the bruised tooth.

This tooth had a large, failing amalgam filling and significant structural breakdown. Over time, old amalgam restorations can weaken the surrounding tooth, leading to fractures and recurrent decay.

In this case, we carefully removed the compromised amalgam and decay, then rebuilt the tooth using a tooth-colored composite restoration. The result restores both strength and natural appearance, while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
