👥 We’re hiring for a Team Leader at Stockport Connect Hub!

We’re on the lookout for a full-time Team Leader to join us at the Connect Hub, to help provide support to people with enduring mental health conditions to live well and connect with others in a safe, welcoming space.

💷 £26,117 per year
📍 Stockport, SK2 6RE
🕑 35 hours per week, permanent contract

What you’ll bring:
💛 Experience supervising staff and supporting adults with care needs
📘 Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
🎓 Working towards Level 5 Leadership & Management (or qualified)
😊 A positive outlook, creativity and the courage to try new things

🌞 What a fantastic day at the Stockport Connect Hub!

Yesterday’s 'Get to Know You Open Day' was packed with creative workshops, singing, garden fun, and plenty of great conversations. From arts, crafts and gratitude Journalling to music, food, and sunshine – it was wonderful to welcome so many familiar faces, new visitors, and local partners.

Guests also had the chance to explore the freshly decorated spaces and check out our brand-new greenhouse!

💬 A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate this exciting new chapter for community mental health support in Stockport.

We’re on the lookout for a part-time Cook (20 hours a week, Mon–Fri) to join our friendly team at Café Connect, based at our Stockport Hub.
💷 £12.60 per hour

🕚 Lunchtime hours, Mon to Fri – no late nights!

The café is more than just a place to grab a bite – it’s a safe, welcoming space for people accessing our recovery and prevention service, as well as the wider community. Serving good food with good vibes, and we’re looking for someone who shares our values and passion for people.

If you’ve got experience in a busy kitchen, love getting creative with your cooking, and want to work somewhere that really makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Exciting news!

We're pleased to share that Making Space has been awarded a contract by Stockport Council to deliver community-based Mental Health Prevention and Enablement Service across Stockport.

We’ll be continuing the fantastic work currently provided by Stockport Progress And Recovery Centre (SPARC) and Pure Innovations. We are proud to be given the opportunity to build on everything they have achieved as current the providers of these services.

The centre which currently operated by SPARC, will transfer over to us as part of the change process. So if you’re already receiving support, you can expect the same warm welcome in familiar surroundings.

We are looking forward to getting to know everyone soon.
