This 5min warm up will have you crushing your next round of golf!

In my last post I talked about how static stretching before you play could be detrimental to your round.

Here is a quick dynamic warm up routine you can use at home before your next round that'll have you out driving all your partners!

You wouldn't drive your car straight onto the motorway from cold. So why do it to your body before the first tee? 🏌️

Static stretching (those long 30-second holds) feels productive — but the science is clear:

❌ Up to 8% drop in muscle power ❌ Slower clubhead speed ❌ Reduced joint stability through impact

That tightness you're trying to "stretch out" is your nervous system asking for movement, not lengthening. Swap the toe-touches for a 5-minute dynamic warm-up and feel the difference from hole 1.

👉 Save this for your next round. 👉 Share it with your fourball. 👉 DM me "GOLF" if you want a filmed version of the warm-up.

Tight hips are the silent killer of a fluid golf swing.

The most frequent limitation I gind when assessing golfers is a lack of internal hip rotation.

When your hips won't turn, your body finds "cheats" that wreck your mechanics and put your lower back in the line of fire.

If you’re tired of playing through stiffness, it’s time to move better.

Why Internal Rotation Matters
• Power: Unlocks a full, deep turn without losing posture.
• Consistency: Prevents the "sway" or "slide" that leads to fat and thin shots.
• Longevity: Protects your spine by letting your hips do the heavy lifting.

The Fix
In my last post, we tested your mobility. Today, we’re actually expanding it. Check out the video for a targeted stretch specifically designed to reclaim that lost range of motion.

Give this a go every day for the next few weeks and feel the difference in your transition.

Is lack of hip internal rotation affecting your golf swing?🏌‍♂️

One of the most common mobility issues I find when assessing golfers is a lack of internal rotation of the hip.

Hip internal rotation is important as we will rotate internally on the trail leg hip in the back swing and then rotate internaly on the follow through in the lead leg hip.

If we have limited internal rotation it will affect how we can swing which can lead to altered swing paths and a loss of performance but also lead to injury.

In this video I am going to show you how to assess your own hip internal rotation.

Did you play golf this weekend and now your stiff as a board?🏌️

It happens all the time. You feel fine on the course, you get in the car, and by the time you're home your lower back is screaming. Here's why.

Golf puts enormous repetitive stress on the lower back — especially the facet joints, the discs, and the muscles either side of the spine. If you have imbalances within this area it can cause these areas to have to deal with more strain then they should. This can lead to stiffness and pain.

The good news? This is almost always treatable.

👉 If this sounds familiar, drop me a DM or click the link in my bio to book in. I'm currently offering 25% off first appointments throughout April.

Struggling with Tennis Elbow? If rest and ice aren't cutting it, Shockwave Therapy might be the game-changer you need. 🎾💥

Lateral epicondylitis isn’t just for athletes; repetitive strain can hit anyone. Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that sends acoustic waves into the tendon to kickstart your body’s natural healing response.

🔬 What the Research Says:

Proven Relief: A 2013 meta-analysis of 617 patients found that Shockwave Therapy significantly improved pain and grip strength for those who didn't respond to traditional or "conservative" treatments.

Long-Term Results: A study in the American Journal of Sports Medicine followed 82 patients and found that the benefits—increased function and decreased pain—lasted for up to one year after treatment.

The "Safety" Factor: It’s an outpatient procedure with minimal downtime. While you might feel some temporary redness or slight discomfort, most people are back to their routine immediately.

Why try it?

✅ Non-surgical
✅ No medication required
✅ High success rate for chronic cases

Don't let elbow pain keep you off the court (or away from your keyboard). Contact us today to see if Shockwave Therapy is the right for your recovery!

Are you tired of living with stubborn joint or tendon pain that just won't go away? 🛑

Shockwave Therapy might be the breakthrough you’ve been looking for. It's a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to stimulate your body’s natural healing process, increase blood flow, and break down scar tissue. ⚡

Here are the conditions Shockwave Therapy helps with the most:

Plantar Fasciitis: Highly effective for chronic heel pain and heel spurs that haven't responded to rest or stretching.

Achilles Tendinopathy: Speeds up recovery for stubborn, long-lasting pain at the back of the ankle.

Tennis & Golfer's Elbow: Promotes healing in the overloaded, painful tendons of the elbow.

Calcific Tendinitis: Helps break down painful calcium deposits in the shoulder's rotator cuff.

Patellar Tendinopathy (Jumper's Knee): Excellent for persistent pain just below the kneecap.

Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome: Relieves chronic, localized pain on the outside of the hip.

If you've been struggling with any of these, don't just "push through" the pain. You deserve to move freely again! 🏃‍♀️💨

It sounds high-tech, but Shockwave Therapy is a proven, non-invasive treatment designed to speed up recovery for stubborn injuries.

How does it work?
During a quick session, a handheld device delivers high-energy acoustic waves directly to the injured area. These "shockwaves" stimulate blood flow, break down scar tissue, and kickstart your body’s natural healing process.

No needles, no surgery—just targeted healing.

We use it right here in Cheadle Hulme to effectively treat chronic issues like:

🦶 Plantar Fasciitis (heel pain)
🏃‍♂️ Achilles Tendonitis
💪 Tennis & Golfer’s Elbow
🦵 Persistent knee or shoulder pain

If you’ve tried everything else and the pain keeps coming back, Shockwave might be the answer.
