Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and payroll functions of Tees Pain Limited. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general accounting procedures. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and process payroll in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, bonuses, and other payroll-related items.
- Manage employee payroll deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
- Prepare payroll reports and analyses for management review.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee records and compliance with payroll-related regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts & Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with payroll processing and familiarity with relevant regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry or experience in a healthcare-related organization is a plus.
