Due to unforeseen circumstances, our usual hall on Tuesday is no longer available, so I’m unfortunately having to cancel tonight’s class.

The good news is that I’ve secured a quiet venue with more parking and better facilities for you all starting next Tuesday 12th August, I have message everyone directly but just in case your mobile has changed here is the information. Please message this page so I can send you the information directly.

Enjoy your extra week off.

With over 11,000 teaching hours at Arhanta Yoga, I've seen it all—the good, the challenging, and the ‘not so good’ side of yoga. Today, let's have a real talk about what being a yoga teacher truly means.

Scrolling through Instagram or walking into yoga studios, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by those picture-perfect poses and seemingly flawless teachers. But here's the truth: yoga isn't just about mastering the most advanced poses. Teaching yoga is completely different from your personal practice.

As a teacher, I believe it's important to show my students the real side of yoga; the struggles, the wobbles, and yes, even the falls. Why? Because most of our students won't look like those Instagram yogis, and that's perfectly okay. Everyone has their own unique limitations and challenges, and that includes us, the teachers.

By sharing our own yoga journey, we create a space where our students can really connect with us. And if you want to become a yoga teacher but don’t think you’re ‘good enough’, remember that the desire to learn and teach yoga outweighs experience every time.

Share this with a student or save it for when you need a reminder of how imperfectly perfect teaching yoga is!
