💉 Local COVID-19 vaccination clinics are taking place this month in Stockton and Middlesbrough.

We’d like to share details of a Stoma Support Group that may be helpful for some of our patients, or for someone you care for.

📅 Monday 11th May

📍 Yarm Wellness Centre, High Church Wynd, TS15 9BQ

This friendly, peer‑led group is for people living with a stoma and their family members. A stoma nurse will be on site to answer questions and offer support in a relaxed, welcoming environment with refreshments and sandwiches provided

📞 You pick up the phone because something doesn’t feel right. Whether it’s a sore throat, an earache, or a bite that’s getting angry — when you’re unwell, you just want help, and you want it quickly. We get it.

Sometimes, after waiting and explaining, you’re told “Your local pharmacy can help with this.” We get it, that can feel frustrating — especially when you’ve already taken the time to call.

But it’s not a brush‑off, and it’s not you being passed around.

Pharmacists are now trained to assess, treat, and supply treatment for a range of common conditions — on the spot, without a GP appointment. Helping us to offer appointments to those that can't be treat at the pharmacy.
