So I've been to our quarterly meeting today, and it always getting me thinking 🤔, do I do enough am I good enough !! Yes I am because I care passionately about each and everyone of my members xx I don't have all the answers but I do have an abundance of love & support !! Also I maintain that it doesn't matter how many times we join and try to get to target! As long as the last time counts !! I joined slimming world for the 1st time 31yrs ago as a 20yr old young mother of 2! My life was busy with work, husband and children ,just like everybody else, I joined, I left , I tried quick fads !! Yes they worked but when I stopped!! I piled the weight back on and more !! 7 years ago we lost my dad and we grieved with cake !! I knew I had to stop the cycle, I re joined slimming world and never looked back!! I realised this is for life and I got to target and came out of it and back in again!! Yes I'm human yes I have bad weeks and yes I fall off the wagon, but I know I can get straight back on again !! And becoming a consultant was the best decision I made !! 😍😍😘

Wanted to share this one of my members wrote this morning:

I had a real good Christmas,
A fantastic New Year too,
I tried to keep my syns on track,
But that I failed to do!

When all the wine was flowing,
With the endless rounds of snacks,
I thought about my pleasure
And not my SW hacks.

As weigh day fast approaches,
I'll hold my head up high,
And face those scales with bravery,
Even though I'll want to cry!

My journey is not over,
A new year just begins,
I'll plan my meals with diligence
And stick within my syns.

When Christmas next approaches,
I'll look back and I'll remember,
My trials and tribulations,
To become a diamond member.

So till I get that "special prize,"
And lose this weight for ever,
I'll put my bum upon that seat,
Let's journey on together.

To make this year out best one yet,
We can practice what we preach,
To make Victoria so proud of us,
As our targets we all reach.
