About the Role:
Providing day to day care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties within a bespoke brand new Children’s home.

Your responsibilities will include being responsible as a member of a team for direct day to day care of young people acting as a positive role model and ensuring their physical, social and emotional needs are being met whilst being flexible, dynamic and engaged in supporting the young people in our care.
You will proactively encourage young people to participate in a variety of opportunities that are healthy, meaningful and give them a sense of achievement and builds their self-esteem.
You will actively contribute to care plans, share in report writing and monitoring and participate in housekeeping duties and work in a positive, respectful and empowering way with young people in order to promote good relationships and encourage achievement and development.
You will work in line with policies and procedures, and The Children’s Homes Regulations and maintain high professional standards at all time.
You will work directly with young people, their families, social workers and other relevant people where appropriate.

Successful applicants will need:
Experience working with Children with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.
Excellent communication both written and verbal and the resilience to manage challenging behaviour.
Have QCF Level 3 in Residential Care.
