Our first Hayfever clinic is on 9th March, which could alleviate some of your hayfever symptoms.
Appointments involve a consultation with a clinician (which is free of charge), and then the treatment, which if taken, is £75.

Tree pollen generally starts in March - do you need to book in for your treatment, or are you intrigued as to whether we can help?

It's Feedback Friday!

This week we're thanking one of our emergency crews: Simon, Rob and Joanna.

We were contacted to advise that the care, attention and concern that the crew had given to both the patient that they were attending, and their family was above and beyond, and that they had never experienced such care and thoughtfulness.

What wonderful feedback to receive, and thank you (and all of our team) for always living and practising our values. Well done.

Clinics are open!

We know it's only February, however hayfever season starts early for some. We have opened up 2 clinics in March (9th and 23rd) between 10-2pm for our hayfever treatment.

The appointment will last 10 minutes, where you will have a free consultation with a clinician to see whether you are eligible for the treatment.
If you are and wish to go ahead, this treatment will be £75 for a single dose, which could reduce the symptoms of hayfever.

Yesterday, 2 of our staff volunteered their time to go to Myton Park Primary school to assist the children in their topic of people who help you. ECA David and Medical Responder Kelly went, along with off duty ambulance Mackenzie to show the children around the ambulance, and also learn about what the ambulance service does. They even got bandaged up and had a little demonstration of CPR.

The children and staff had a great time, and even CIPHER Stevie made an appearance for the occasion.

This week we're thanking Ellie and Rebecca, 2 paramedics that were recognised for their hard work, competency and compassion during a recent cardiac arrest they attended. The feedback advised that with their help, determination and knowledge, this resulted in a positive outcome for the patient.
