📢 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 – 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 (𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲)

Our practice is taking part in a phased NHS weight management programme, which is being rolled out nationally over several years. From June 2026, the programme enters Year 2, meaning a new group of patients may become eligible based on national criteria such as BMI and certain long‑term health conditions.

We hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend and start to half term. Our teams are back and working hard to respond to patient requests following the long weekend, which is always a busier time for our practice.

Many patients assume NHS App notifications are already switched on — but for lots of people, they aren’t. Across Stockton-on-Tees, many NHS App notifications didn’t reach patients simply because notifications were turned off.

You can help by checking your settings and turning notifications ON

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻:
Open the NHS App > Tap the person icon > Select Notifications > Switch them ON

Please be aware that there will be no X-ray service available at the Community Diagnostic Centre in Stockton on Weds 13th May 2026 due to essential repairs being carried out in the X-ray room.
