We are expanding our pool of bank and ad hoc clinical tutors.

If you are a registered paramedic or nurse or other medical professional and enjoy teaching, this could be a flexible opportunity to work alongside your current role.

At Medipro, our tutors support a wide range of pre-hospital and clinical education programmes. This includes ambulance, offshore and diving medicine and healthcare training. Bank tutors help us during periods of increased demand, specialist delivery and workforce growth.

You can choose when you work.
You will not be responsible for managing a full learner caseload.
You will focus on delivering high-quality clinical teaching and supporting practical skills.

This role is ideal if you want to:
Gain education experience
Maintain clinical skills
Work flexibly around shifts
Support the next generation of healthcare professionals

Training and support are provided, and we welcome applications from clinicians who are new to education.

Your summer could look very different this year.

Imagine working at concerts, festivals and sporting events.
Getting paid to be there.
Supporting the public and gaining real lifesaving skills at the same time.

Our Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) gives you the training to become a First Responder Medic and join medical teams covering major events across the UK.

You don’t need any previous experience.
You don’t need a driving licence.
You just need to be over 16 and ready to learn.

This nationally recognised qualification is accepted by event medical providers. Many learners use it to secure flexible paid work across music festivals, football matches, motorsport and outdoor shows. Others take it as their first step into a career in pre-hospital care.

“How do I become a paramedic?”

We’re asked this question all the time, and it’s becoming harder to find clear, reliable answers.

So we’ve created a free online guide to help.

Medipro was founded by practising paramedics.
We’ve worked in the NHS and healthcare education for many years.
Through our Level 6 Paramedic programme, we’ve helped over 120 learners qualify and register with the HCPC.

The guide explains:
* What paramedics really do and how ambulance services work in the UK
* The different education routes and entry requirements
* How HCPC registration works
* What career progression can look like after qualifying

The guide is free and open to everyone.

If you know someone thinking about becoming a paramedic, please share it with them.

We’ve completed our first cohort of Level 3 Ambulance Support Worker apprentices with St Bartholomew’s Hospital NHS Trust.

Learners are now moving into operational roles.
They continue on our revised 12-month apprenticeship programme.
Built to support frontline readiness and safe progression.

This programme shows how apprenticeships can grow the workforce quickly and sustainably.
It also shows how levy funding can be used before upcoming changes take effect.

From August 2026:
Levy funds will expire after 12 months, not 24.
The 10% government top-up will be removed.
Employer co-investment will rise to 25% once levy funds are used.

For SMEs, there is a clear opportunity.
Non-levy employers will receive 100% funding for apprentices under 25.

If you’re an NHS trust or private provider planning your workforce pipeline, now is the time to review your levy strategy.

We’re happy to share what’s worked in practice.

Offshore Medic is a role with autonomy and real challenges..

You make decisions when secondary care is not an option.

That only works when training is done properly.

Every Offshore Medic must complete an HSE-approved course.
If it is not HSE-approved, it is not valid.

One non-negotiable is clinical placement. Minimum 60 hours. Supervised. Verified.

We have recently seen a small number of cases across the sector where people tried to falsify placement evidence.
That puts professional registration, employability, and patient safety at risk.

At Medipro we verify.
We check documentation and confirm signatories.

If cost or time is the barrier, speak to us.
We can offer payment plans and flexible scheduling.

For over 15 years, Medipro has delivered HSE-approved Offshore Medic training, supporting hundreds of clinicians entering one of the most demanding and rewarding roles in the offshore sector.

New apprenticeship initiative now live with North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Trust.

Healthcare Assistants enrolled onto the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship have started training designed to make them ward-ready from day one.

This model puts core clinical skills, real-world scenarios and structured mentorship up front.
It means new starters step onto wards with confidence, clarity and capability.

That’s better support for patients, and less pressure on busy teams.
If you’re thinking about a career in healthcare, or you know someone who is, this apprenticeship sets the foundation for long-term progression.

In the run-up to Christmas, we held a fun photo competition to get our learners involved during their 6 weeks with us. We’ve loved looking through all the photos that were sent in, but most of all, we’ve loved having each and every one of you in the centre.

Thank you to everyone who took part, and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

We’ve had a brilliant start to our new partnership with North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

Our team is supporting their Healthcare Assistants on the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship, helping them build confidence in:

* Patient assessment
* Recognising and responding to a deteriorating patient
* Day-to-day nursing skills on the ward

Training is taking place in a full simulation suite – a “ready-made ward” where staff can safely practise real-world scenarios before stepping back onto the floor.

If you work in an NHS trust and you’re looking to grow and upskill your Healthcare Support Worker workforce, we can help.

Medipro can support with:

*Recruitment of new HCAs / SHCSWs
* Full apprenticeship delivery and ongoing support

Want to explore this for your trust?
Visit www.medipro.co.uk
or call 01325 609030 and speak with the team.
