Job Vacancy: Part-Time or full time Cook (Care Home Setting)
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm,
Pay: £13.01 per hour or more depending on experience.
We are looking for a passionate and caring Cook to join our team in a warm and welcoming 32-bedded care home in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a great opportunity to use your cooking skills to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for our residents
Support individual dietary needs, including cultural and religious preferences
Promote a pleasant and social dining experience
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene
What we’re looking for:
A genuine interest in supporting older people
Experience in cooking for groups (care setting preferred but not essential)
Team player with good time management and creativity
Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to complete training and attend staff meetings
Additional Info:
Weekend and cover shifts may be required occasionally
Mandatory training and DBS check required
