Your tears are not all the same.
Under a microscope, tears formed from grief, change, laughter, and physical irritation each create entirely different crystalline patterns.
Emotion leaves structure.
Feeling leaves form.
Release leaves the body.
Crying isn’t weakness — it’s regulation.
It’s the nervous system discharging what it can no longer carry.
It’s chemistry, energy, memory, and emotion moving out.
This is why some people cry after a Reiki session.
It’s not a sign that something is “wrong” — it’s a sign that the body feels safe enough to let go.
Reiki creates a state of deep nervous system relaxation, and in that safety, stored emotion can finally release.
Tears after healing are normal, healthy, and welcome.
They often come with clarity, lightness, and a sense of peace once the release has passed.
In healing work, release matters just as much as insight.
Crying, shaking, sighing, yawning, laughing — all are signs the system is recalibrating.
If tears come, let them.
They are information leaving the body.
They are the body choosing healing.
