We're now opening a Saturday Physiotherapy Clinic!

We know that getting an appointment around work, school and daily commitments isn't always easy. While our evening slots are popular, they get booked up very quickly. That's why, from Saturday 10th October, Chris will be running a Saturday clinic from 9.30am-2pm at our Sedgefield practice.

This new weekend option is here to give you more flexibility and to help you stay on top of your treatment.

We'll be trialling Saturday clinics for a few weeks and would love to hear your feedback on whether this works for you. Your input helps us to shape our services to your needs.

Perfect Your Running Form! 🏃‍♂️✨

Good running form isn’t just about speed—it’s key to reducing injuries and making every mile feel better. Here are some tips to keep in mind:

👉 Head: Keep your gaze 15-20 feet ahead and ears in line with shoulders for a tall posture.
👉 Arms: Maintain a 90-degree bend, and don’t let them cross your midline.
👉 Hands: Lightly cup them like you’re holding a potato chip to avoid clenching.
👉 Breathing: Relax, inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mouth to stay controlled.
👉 Ankles: Lean slightly forward at the ankles to help with efficient movement.
👉 Feet: Don’t overthink footstrike—just avoid leaping forward.

Absolutely YES! 💪 Thanks to testosterone, men tend to be naturally stiffer, which makes yoga a fantastic way to combat that tightness. While results take time (think twice a week for 3 months for big changes), you’ll start noticing a difference in just two weeks!

If you’re the token man in your yoga class, here’s a pro tip: sit at the back so no one sees your wobbly Warrior Pose! 😂 Or, if group classes aren’t your thing, there are loads of great yoga videos on YouTube to get you started from the comfort of your living room.
