I've found that when you slow down the world around you, it enables you to appreciate it more. The canal is great for this and our trip allowed me to relax and unwind.
But it got me thinking... What do you do that truly relaxes you? Where you can leave behind what's worrying you or filling your thoughts constantly? Do you ever get the opportunity to sit and talk through them out loud?
If this is you and you want to actually be able to sit and say with no judgement or expectation, what's worrying you, then counselling might be helpful.
I'm someone who will sit with you, who is warm and calm, who won't judge or assume and who will allow you a safe space to speak freely.
Did you know that I am interested in these particular areas
Chronic pain
Cancer including terminal diagnoses
Carers
MS
Autism and ADHD.
Death and dying
These are the areas I work with frequently and have such a passion for them. I find working with bereavement and palliative care so fulfilling and rewarding it's certainly an area I love.
Of course I will happily explore many other issues that are brought into the counselling room but I'm embedded in death and dying with an absolute passion for it.
If you feel you would like to reach out to discuss any worries that you may be struggling with right now (and I totally get that's a hard thing to do) please either use the links in the bio on my page or
