Principal responsibilities:

Participate in on-call duties (part of a planned rota, approx 1 week in 4)
Provide emergency care cover
Ensure that there is good communication with our care teams, and with care commissioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams

Are you a nurse (RGN) with community experience looking for a part-time job (25-30 hours a week) and flexible working hours?

Pride Health and Social Care is a friendly, doctor-led organisation that looks after clients with a variety of complex care needs in their own homes. You will work with our nurses and Registered Manager to ensure the safe delivery of high-quality care services that meet the requirements of our clients and commissioners. You will get to know our clients and care staff well, offering excellent continuity of care and gaining real job satisfaction.

You will look after a small number of care packages for our clients with complex physical health needs in Bristol, with occasional trips to Cardiff. This will involve:

Visiting our clients regularly and providing clinical reviews;
Maintaining up-to-date care plans and risk assessments;
Supervising and training care staff in clinical competencies;
Assessing new clients;
Overseeing the quality of clinical documentation within the organisation;
Liaising with the Multi-Disciplinary Team as required.
We are looking for:

A RGN-qualified nurse with NMC registration.
District nursing or other community experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. Experience with PEG and tracheostomy care is also beneficial, but not essential (training will be provided if needed).
