The Lindens Residential Care Home Choosing a care home can be a hard choice to make. The Lindens is a compassionate care home in Milto Internet access is available.

The Lindens is a privately owned care home, set in the tranquil Buckinghamshire countryside. Registered with the CQC, The Lindens offers individual care for both our long-term residents and those visiting us for respite care; aiming to provide a real “Home from Home” experience for all our residents and their visitors. Set within beautiful gardens, The Lindens is home to a community of elderly residents. Each individual is given as much assistance as is required or requested on a 24 hour basis. We have doctors on call at all times who make regular visits to The Lindens. When additional regular care is needed we can ensure this is provided. There is a wide choice of accommodation with a variety of en-suite rooms, which all have care call systems, television and DVD players. We encourage residents to bring along their own personal mementos and small items of furniture to add to their sense of comfort and well-being. Double and single rooms are available. In addition to each resident’s personalised room, The Lindens offers attractive and comfortable communal rooms for rest, relaxation and entertainment. Popular meeting areas are the Sun Lounge and the well-maintained garden terraces which overlook our floral displays, providing interest and colour throughout the year. Dining takes place in our elegant oak panelled dining room within the main house. All our meals are prepared by our chef. Menus change weekly and individual dietary requirements can be catered for. Meal times here are a social event, with beautifully laid tables where residents enjoy interacting with each other. If required, meals can also be served in our residents’ bedrooms. The kitchen is happy to prepare food and drink at any time of day for our residents’ convenience. Visitors are welcomed, tea and coffee always available. All activities are tailored to suit our residents’ preferences and include:-

• Arts and crafts
• Gardening
• Quizzes
• Musicians

We are also visited by fully approved qualified professionals including Chiropodists, Manicurists, Pedicurists and Hairdressers. Looking for Holiday and Respite Care? If you’ve ever met Nuala, you’ll understand exactly why she’s been selected as our Employee of the Month!🏆

Each morning she arrives with a kind and positive energy that brings our residents comfort. She’s always up to getting involved in anything fun. Our Wacky Hair Day winner and our very own Elvis, a show hard to forget! 🎤 Her enthusiasm is infectious, and her high spirits make the day to day feel brighter.

But beyond the fun, Nuala has a pure heart. She’s patient, caring and genuinely dedicated to making each resident feel valued. Families and residents often tell us how much they appreciate her gentle nature and the time she gives to everyone. She’s a wonderful teammate who’s always ready to support others.

We’re proud to celebrate Nuala this month and we appreciate all you bring to our Lindens family. We’re lucky to have you! 💜

Happy 100th Birthday Eve!💐

Eve’s life has been filled with love, creativity, and resilience. Born and raised in London, she lived through the Second World War and spent some time in Eastbourne when evacuated. In Whitehall, she worked as a telephonist, and fate brought her to Don — who she married in 1950 and shared many happy years with, enjoying plenty of dancing before the children arrived! In her retirement, Eve and Don spent their time making memories together at the theatre and adventuring on cruises.

Eve is a creative lady with many hobbies — she’s spent many hours dressmaking, flower arranging, sewing and knitting. But above everything else, Eve’s heart has always belonged to one thing: her family. Her son, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren are her pride and joy. She lights up whenever she talks about them.

Eve never asks for much fuss but if anyone deserves a little extra sparkle today, it’s her. She teaches us that the greatest joys in life come from the simple things: caring for others, creating with our hands and cherishing family above all else. We all feel honoured to know Eve and today we’re proud to celebrate her century of memories, laughter and love.❤️

Today we’re celebrating Edith, who has reached an incredible milestone — 100 years old! 💐

Edith’s life has been filled with music and faith. A gifted musician from an early age, she earned a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where her love of classical music flourished. She went on to share that passion through teaching. Edith says she never stayed in one place for too long, but her favourite role was working with children with disabilities in Thurlow Park School.

Away from music, Edith found joy and peace in her garden, tending to her plants through unconventional methods - with her top tip being to ‘let the garden plan itself’!

Her strong faith continues to be a guiding light for Edith and her son remains one of the most important parts of her life.

As we celebrate Edith’s 100th birthday, we honour her as an incredible woman who displays wisdom and grace and reminds us to always keep doing what we love, no matter our age.❤️
