Wondering what NHS lung cancer screening is?
Its a new screening service offered to people aged 55 -74, anyone with a smoking history will have an appointment with a specialist respiratory nurse, after this appointment you may be invited for a CT scan to get a closer look at your lungs.

Thank you to everyone who attended their lung cancer screening in !

Since our mobile unit arrived at Copper Square on 17 August, many people have been able to have their CT scan closer to home.

🚐 The mobile unit is leaving Burton today, but don’t worry, we’ll be back soon.

The Lung Cancer Screening Programme is available to people aged 55–74 who are past or current smokers.

📍 Our next stop: on 6 October 2025.
