🔵 A special service will take place at Stoke Minster where Stoke City fans are invited to remember supports who passed away last year.
The Celebration of Life Service will take place on January 17 ahead of the Potters' clash with Queens Park Rangers at the bet365 Stadium.
Fans can arrive at the Stoke-based church from 10.15am with he service starting at 11am and concluding at noon.
🗣️A spokesperson for the club said: "As well as family and friends of dearly departed supporters attending the ceremony, representatives from the club, academy, and former players will come together to celebrate the lives of those who were loved and lost during the previous 12 months.
"The service, which will be led by Reverend Geoff Eze, is in addition to the club’s traditional new year memorial fixture, at which tributes will be paid to supporters and former players who have passed away in 2025."
📝Fans have been invited to provide names, photographs and years of life for loved ones to the club that will be included in a big screen tribute prior to kick-off against QPR. Those details will also appear in the matchday programme and Stoke's social media channels. The deadline for inclusion in the programme is noon on January 13 while big screen entries must be received by midday on January 15.

A big massive thank you to all the families who have entrusted me with their beloveds.

It’s nearly Christmas and I’m sending love to you all, whether it’s your first or 21st without them.

Thank you for your continued support, thank you for telling your friends and family about what a special place this is and all your recommendations for families to experience a funeral in a different way - Their way.

I’m still working over the festive period, but looking forward to a few days off over Christmas to spend time with my family.

This is Vicky from Belle Aria - Vicky hosted our candlelit service last night.

She is AMAZING!!

I first met Vicky when she sang at a funeral, we have done a few together now and honestly she is amazing.

You can book her to sing at a funeral with us (or anywhere else!) she also does weddings, sings with the trio The Baker Street Belles and for our older generation in care homes. She is a woman of many talents!

She also got married a few weeks ago! Congratulations 🥂

Wow this post has gone a little wild! Thank you all for sharing, liking and commenting!

The Chapel is an independent Funeral Venue. We give families time to say goodbye, with generous time slots and even a brew afterwards!

You can then go onto a burial or we can arrange the cremation to take place after you have said goodbye (please get in touch for more details)

I’m trying to reach as many families as possible in the Stoke on Trent and surrounding areas to let them know we are a brilliant alternative to the crematoriums! I hope you never need to call, but I’m here if you do.
