Happy International Women’s day!!

Especially celebrating all the women today in the funeral service!

What was once a very male dominated space, is changing.

More and more women are looking after families as funeral directors, leading services as celebrants and ministers, driving hearses, caring for the dead and generally just being awesome at a time when a families world has changed forever.

I couldn’t have got through the last 3 years without these fabulous women by my side. Their support, love and encourage every step of the way has meant the world to me and my sanity!

We have some brilliant people joining us on the day to share their advice!

Their Last Mini Adventure is bringing their classic mini hearse! (As a previous classic mini owner I can’t wait to see it!)

Funeral directors will be there to answer all your questions (and we love random questions!) from Isobel Whittaker Funeral Services and W.R. Bettelley Funeral Directors

Flowers from No. 8 will be bringing information and a floral display (she grows her own flowers here in Staffordshire!)

Goddard Dunbar & Associates Ltd will be there to answer all your wills & probate questions!

And Steve Soult Limited the coffin maker will be bringing his Coffin Boffins to tell us all about the history of coffins! ⚰️

There will also be offers on memorial jewellery, and of course be brews and cake!
