🌟 Welcome to Our New Senior Care Team Members - Rebecca, Cheska & Jessica 🌟

We’re excited to congratulate our new senior staff members, who have just completed an intensive 4-day Senior Care training course here at New Milton House 🏡

Over the past few days, they’ve been learning the ropes of what it takes to support our residents with confidence, compassion, and professionalism. From understanding senior care best practices to getting hands-on with daily responsibilities, they’ve shown great enthusiasm and a true commitment to providing the high standard of care our residents deserve.

Please join us in welcoming them to their new roles — we’re delighted to have them as part of our team, and we know they’ll make a real difference to the lives of those we care for ❤️

🥰 A fun filled morning! Today was packed with smiles, laughter and a bit of brain exercise. We kicked things off with Magazine Morning, flipping through pages, sharing our finds, and enjoying some time together. 🏡

Then it was time to get moving with Armchair Zumba, plenty of energy, music, and movement, all from the comfort of our chairs! 🪑 We finished up the morning with a thoughtful language quiz, where we explored phrases you don’t hear much anymore and regional words that mean the same thing, lots of “Oh, I remember that!” moments. 🧠💬 A morning of nostalgia and light hearted fun. 💛

We understand how important it is for families to feel informed and involved in their loved one’s care. That’s why we’re inviting relatives to book a drop in slot to meet with our Home Manager and Deputy Manager for a relaxed chat about your loved one’s progress, wellbeing, and any questions you may have. 🏡

These sessions are a great opportunity to:
✔️ Discuss your relative’s care and routines
✔️ Share thoughts or suggestions
✔️ Hear about what’s new and upcoming in the home
