All Pilates sessions are personally managed by Marie who is a highly qualified & experienced fitness professional & is one of the leading Pilates Practitioners in Staffordshire. Marie has many years of experience in Pilates and has been the Official Pilates Instructor to Stoke City FC from 08/2009 to 09/2010. So last night in Yogalates we were working on our wide leg boat pose or Merudandasana

✨ Exercise Focus: Merudandasana (Spinal Column Pose) ✨

Ever wondered what’s really working when you balance in this strong seated pose? 👀
Merudandasana is a powerhouse for your core and posture 💪

👉 It targets:
• Your deep core muscles (helping protect your spine)
• Hip flexors (lifting and holding the legs)
• Inner thighs (keeping you stable and controlled)
• Spinal muscles (helping you sit tall and proud)

💡 Why we love it: (well if I’m honest I think it was just a few of us loving it!)
