I suspect it is hard to love a funeral director/crematorium technician. We get up early, we come home late or may have night shifts and are too tired to cook. We miss weekend events, holidays, birthdays. We don't get too excited over a minor cough or cold, we have seen far worse. We don’t always want to talk when we come home, we have talked all day. We don't always want to move when we come home, we have moved all day. It may seem that we have left all of our caring, our heart, and our love at work, and have come home to you empty, we probably have. I guess it is hard to love a funeral director/ cream to ruin technician but know this: we still need your love. We need your understanding. We need to know that you “get it". We need to be the one taken care of every once in a while. We need someone else to take charge of the details because constantly doing everything ourselves is exhausting. Sometimes we need our feet rubbed. We need a shoulder to cry on when we can't even tell you why we’re grieving. We need you to do the hardest work you may ever take on, which is...to love a funeral director/ creamtoriun technician.
I would like to thank those of you out there who love them and let us do this work, this calling, this life: care work ❤️
Copy and paste if you are a funeral director/ crematorium technician or love one💕 It's not a job, but a lifestyle. I often hear people say to me, "I am glad there are folks like you who can do this work, because I sure could not". And I respond " and I am glad there are folks who can do your job, because I sure couldn't " . We all have different gifts and I am a firm believer that we are placed exactly where we are needed. It may take some of us a little longer to find our niche but when we do, it does not feel like work if you love what you do. 😊

Early morning start on the road at 4.00 am for me & Fleur. Repat from North Devon District Hospital to Worthing for a funeral director. On to Dartford to Private Ambulance Hire thanks Scott. Stop over night & back in the morning.

Thanks to Josh, Casey & Lewis for their hard work today with a very early first response followed by transfer of three deceased for a funeral home in the Midlands & two direct services one at South Leicester and Mercia Forest crematoria.

Crazy day for the teams. Repat from Clacton on Sea for a funeral director in the Midlands. Josh & Lewis helping a lady with kids on the M11 Motorway as she'd beached her car.

Two direct services followed by me conducting a service. Return ashes back to a family in Lincoln on to a care home collection in Peterborough & doctors viewing in Boston.

For those who don't know us we have our own premises based in Stoke-on-Trent with our own fridges aswell as three private ambulances and staff providing a road & ferry repatriation service throughout the UK, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. Our fleet & staff have expanded to three private ambulances two with rise & fall decks.

Our team were busy today with two early morning services at South Leicester Crematorium, one service at Mercia Forest Crematorium. Hospital collections from Sandwell & Leighton Hospitals.

Collected coffins from JC Walwyn in Ashbourne.

Josh & I have completed two hospital collections from Arrowe Park & Royal Liverpool Hospital this morning. Then collecting ashes from Vale Royal Crematorium & two coffins from JC Walwyn & Son in Ashbourne.

Another busy day for the team. Fleur & I up early for a repatriation from Dorset County Hospital to Birmingham for a funeral director.

A second collection for us from a funeral director in Birmingham. Lastly a hospice collection from Lichfield.

Josh & Will completed a first call collection from Market Harborough returning at 4.30 am this morning. On to two direct services at Vale Royal early this morning.

Volvo - T12FSS requiring replacement head light bulbs ready for action again.
