🌼 March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month 🌼

Let’s take a moment to raise awareness for a disease that often goes unnoticed until it’s advanced. Ovarian cancer is known as the “silent” cancer because symptoms can be easy to miss, but early detection can save lives.

🩵 Know the symptoms:
• Persistent bloating
• Pelvic or abdominal pain
• Feeling full quickly or difficulty eating
• Changes in bowel or urinary habits
• Unexplained fatigue

🩵 What you can do:
✔ Learn the signs
✔ Listen to your body
✔ Encourage loved ones to speak to their GP if something feels “off”

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in the UK and we're calling on you to help us raise awareness of the symptoms and signs of ovarian cancer. Here you'll find out when is ovarian cancer awareness month, why and how it started and how you can get involved.

This week is Cervical Cancer Prevention Week (19–25 January 2026), reminding us how important HPV vaccination and regular cervical screening (smear tests) are in preventing cervical cancer.

HPV vaccine protects against the virus causing most cervical cancers.
Cervical screening checks for HPV and abnormal cells, saving around 5,000 lives a year in the UK.
All women aged 25 to 64 are invited for cervical screening every 5 years. Everyone with a cervix should go for cervical screening.
Please attend your screening when invited. 💙
