Worked in the care industry for over 25 years with various roles. Of which of this over 6yrs at Aldergrange. Which I enjoy,love the residents, and the care environment.
I have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren, which I love dearly. Like socialising and going holidays and meeting friends for meals .

Hello! I’m Melissa, one of the senior carers at Alder Grange. I originally started working at Alder Grange aged 18 following my work experience placement. I then went on to live in Manchester after a couple of years, and explored working as a personal assistant there before returning to Alder Grange again some years later.. bringing a bit of the Manchester accent with me! 🤣 I love all of my extended family at Alder Grange and don’t view it a ‘job’ as such, it’s more a home from home vibe which is so special to be a part of.

I have two lovely children aged 9 and 4, a dog and a cat, who all keep me busy outside of work and I love all things health and fitness based, spending time with my family and catching up with friends 🫶🏼

Hi I’m Emily I’m 23 and have been a career since the start of the year when I first started to work at alder grange. I first got into care as a way to help those in need and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. My hobbies are spending time with my friends and going on adventures. I love to travel all over the UK especially Devon and wales. I love going on drives with my mates especially when we decide less than an hour before we go out.

Hi everyone my name is Dawn , I’ve been a care assistant for over 30 years and have been at Alder Grange for 10 years in July. I find my job very rewarding by putting a smile on our residents faces and loving them like they are my family. I have two beautiful grandchildren and I’m a massive stoke city fan which I have a season ticket with my family.
