Before the madness fully sets in I want to wish all my lovely clients a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year 🎄✨

I just want to say the biggest thank you to each and every one of you for all the support and loyalty throughout 2025. I’m so grateful for you all, and it’s been incredibly special to share such a huge chapter of my life with you — from getting married to welcoming our beautiful baby boy.

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent such kind well wishes, cards and gifts for baby Isaac. They’ve truly meant the world to us and have made this time even more special 💙

I’m so excited for my return in 2026, which will also come with some big (and exciting!) changes for the business. For now, I’m still on maternity leave and soaking up this precious time, but I can’t wait to see you all again soon.

✨ Three Years of having my own clinic & A New Chapter Begins ✨

Today marks 3 years since I opened my own clinic to run my small business from – and what an incredible journey it’s been. I’ve poured my heart into it, and in return, I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with the most amazing clients, many of whom I now call friends. 💛

It feels very bittersweet to share that as of today, I’m officially starting my maternity leave. While it’s hard to step away from something I love so much, I’m beyond excited to begin this next chapter and welcome our little boy into the world. 👶💙

I want to say the biggest thank you for all the love, support, kind words, cards, and beautiful gifts I’ve received over the past few weeks – I’ve felt truly overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness and generosity. It means so much to me.

Although I’ll be taking a step back, I’ll still be checking my messages occasionally – so if you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll also be keeping everyone updated on my return date when the time comes.

I can’t wait to see you all again once I’m back – if not before for some baby cuddles! 🥰

IMPORTANT UPDATE‼️

As many of you know, I’m currently in my third trimester of pregnancy, and with our little man’s arrival just around the corner, I’ll be wrapping up client appointments at the end of September. It’s definitely a bittersweet moment — I’ve absolutely loved continuing to support you all throughout this pregnancy, but it’s time to start slowing down and preparing for this exciting next chapter!

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continued support, loyalty, and trust in my work. Whether you’ve been with me for years or only recently found your way to my treatment room, I’m so grateful for your business and the lovely community that’s grown around it. Seeing familiar faces return again and again genuinely means the world to me.

My plan is to take maternity leave until the end of this year and return to my business in the new year all being well. I’ll keep you all updated as the time gets closer.

In the meantime, thank you once again for your support — it has truly made all the difference. I hope to see all your familiar faces back when I return. Wishing you a healthy, active, and pain-free few months ahead! In the meantime, I have posted my September availability so please don’t hesitate to drop me a message to get booked in before I take a break💙

Business update, please read‼️

Firstly, as I am sure many of you have noticed I have been very quiet on my business accounts for a while! And I apologise for this! The past few months have been super busy with planning our wedding, becoming Mr & Mrs Swaby and starting to prepare for our new addition who is due in November🤩

I am still super busy in the clinic and there is no sign of me stopping yet! But I do ask that you bear with me at times as working full time, running a business, being a newly wed and pregnant is not for the faint hearted!

Please as always, if you would like to book an appointment, drop me a message. I am booking up for July already! I am not updating my availability as often, mostly due to me being so busy but I will always do my best to fit clients in.

Post-sports massage care is vital to maximise the benefits of the treatment and promote recovery.
Here’s some key guidelines to follow:
- Stay hydrated (this helps with the removal of toxins post massage)
- Rest and recovery (avoid intense physical activity for 24 hours to allow your body time to absorb the effects of the massage)
- Stretching (gentle stretching can help maintain looseness achieved from massage)
- Combine massage with other recovery practices such as foam rolling (my favourite), yoga or mobility work!
- Schedule regular massages to maintain the benefits and address ongoing muscle issues!

It is also normal to feel a little sore after a deep tissue sports massage, especially if it has been targeting specific muscle knots or tightness. This is due to muscle manipulation breaking down adhesions, releasing tension and increasing blood flow. Deep massage can also cause temporary inflammation and release toxins such as lactic acid which can cause temporary discomfort.
