Weโ€™re so pleased to be celebrating Sarah and her 5 years as a Deputy Manager with us.

Sarah is at the heart of everything we do. She always puts our residents first, showing real compassion, understanding, and care in every situation. She takes the time to listen, to support and to make sure everyone feels valued and that doesnโ€™t go unnoticed.

She is hardworking and dedicated, someone the team can always rely on. Whether itโ€™s stepping in to help, guiding others, or simply being there when someone needs support, Sarah is often the first to put her hand up.

As a Deputy Manager, she plays such an important role in keeping everything running smoothly, but itโ€™s the way she supports her team that really stands out. She leads by example, encourages those around her, and creates a positive environment where people feel confident and supported in their roles.

Her commitment, consistency and genuine care for both residents and staff make a real difference every single day.

Theyโ€™re the ones who know our residents, their routines, their stories and bring consistency, care and familiarity into each home.

Since April, weโ€™ve been celebrating team members across our homes, sharing some really special moments together.

The residents have enjoyed some games and colouring this week. They have had the memory box out and were talking about what they did on their evenings in. We have listened and danced to music. Doing the hokey cokey and some staff did the conga. We also had the pleasure of having Vicky from Musical Moments come in. There was lots of laughter, singing and playing musical instruments

Residents gathered together to enjoy the excitement of the Grand National. They were all cheering on their chosen horses. Everyone watched closely as the horses made their way round the famous course and it was Walter who celebrated picking the winning horse. ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ‰

We have had an Easter egg hunt today where the residents enjoyed finding the eggs. This finished the week of Easter activities where they coloured on eggs and decorated an Easter bonnet. We've had the exercise class, played skittles and burst some bubbles. There was lots of laughter and smiles while all having fun.
