Rocking my odd socks today to support Huntington’s Awareness 💙

I’m supporting Odds and Socks Day today, raising awareness of Huntington’s Disease. Huntington’s disease is a genetic condition where each child of an affected parent has a 50/50 chance of inheriting it. Those are tough odds — but families face them with incredible strength every day. 🧦💙

Today is World Diabetes Day. Podiatrists play an important role in the care of people with diabetes and pre-diabetes. We perform lower limb health checks including vascular and neurological status and actively work to identify risks, support health improvement, prevent deterioration and harm, and to save limbs and lives. We also review foot and lower limb biomechanics and intervene to reduce and prevent pain and pressure. Corn removal and callus reduction, removal and prevention of painful ingrowing nails and more.
