Not sure if many of you know this, but I have a full-time job thats nothing to do with Reiki or complementary treatments; I am a Network Engineer.
Day-to-day I work with technology that provides Wi-Fi (a simple way to put it 😅)
Alot of people don't know what I do, so it's easier to say "I do IT"

Reiki and alternative therapy was never a career choice for me: it's a hobby. I'm not motivated to practise by money - simply just taking an interest in wanting to help others. I give up my free time to help people feel better. Does this make me a cut above those who do this for an income? No, our abilities will be the same. But I do believe this ensures my intention is focused for the good of the people that come to see me, and Reiki is an intention based treatment 🫶

Why do I charge at all? It still costs me to become qualified through multiple levels of courses, to buy equipment, and to make sure I am insured/covered to practise. This year, I haven't even covered my insurance cost, I'm nowhere near making a profit. Probably years away - as I'm so passionate about furthering my skill set.
This isn't even just a hobby, to my core, it feels like "I'm supposed to be doing this!".
All it took was 1 Reiki session, and I knew my path involved doing this for others, too.

A lot more things are said in kindness - being heard with ears of hurt, than in attack.
Sure, there are people out there who are trying to tear you down. But once you see their actions are just pain they can't process, things get a lot easier. No more: "Why are they doing this to me?!". They simply aren't. Everyone has the capacity for growth, but its down to the individual whether they can sit with themselves or not. Shadow work is the first step.

For the first time in a while, I felt like it was time to do a card pull. The first set I did was a Perceptionary deck, which is full of artwork. Going with the past, present, and future model helps you clarify and rationalise where you were, where you are, and where you might be going. These are personal interpretations awoken deep within you when presented with the imagery.
The second deck I have is a wisdom deck, and when pulling that one, I call on what I think I need.
I really liked what I got tonight. It felt like reassurance with a dash of advice at the end 🥰

Sodalite...well, it was a ring. I was at dance last Saturday, just speaking to my friends in between dances, and my ring I was wearing on my thumb broke into pieces.
I never really liked Sodalite - I never felt it was a crystal for me. But about 5 months ago I took to this ring and got it. I had been wearing it as a set, paired with a red jasper ring.
Recently, I have been through a lot; a huge life shift: leaving relationships that no longer serve a higher good, losing family, building up my home, investing in a career I love, a massive lifestyle change. What's this ring got to do with that? Well...
In spiritual interpretations, a broken sodalite crystal signifies a positive transformation or the completion of a cycle. It can be seen as a sign that you've outgrown the crystal's energy or that it has done its job. Some believe it's a natural part of a crystal's life, fulfilling its purpose and then returning to nature. Instead of viewing it as a negative, it can be seen as an opportunity for reflection and growth, embracing the lessons learned from the crystal.
Keep moving 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️✨️
