"Keele University Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic offer a FREE 4-week well-being workshop designed to offer a supportive environment to discuss personal goals and partake in activities in order to enhance your health & wellbeing. Our next course starts on 22nd October at 1.15-2.15 and runs over 4 consecutive weeks."

Our connection with Keele...

We currently have our third student placement taking place with us, working alongside our participants currently on the ten step programme.
Throughout these placements we are strengthening relationships and partnerships alongside creating opportunities for everyone to explore. Working together on a similar ethos this workshop we feel would benefit anyone wishing to try something new and step out of their comfort zone.

This FREE workshop is available to staff and students at Keele University. It is designed to support, inform and encourage the attendee to make positive changes to improve their wellbeing. The workshops run for an hour, over 4 consecutive weeks. It is important that you are able to attend all 4

Tuesday - Longton Park Walk (meeting at the bottom entrance along Trentham Road by the big tree) 1pm

Wednesday - Tea & Toast as usual 10am - 12pm at St Francis Church, Sandon Road, Meir Heath ST3 7LH.

A fantastic wilderness walk led by Walk Leader Lee, the smell of pine trees to the fascinating facts of resin today was a great morning trek through the forest and marsh lands. Meeting horses and evidencing deer and Muntjac in the area, not forgetting to mention the actual Seven Springs! Beautiful to get out and talk, enjoying a hot flask halfway to take in the scenery and soak in the wilderness surrounding us!

The next Wilderness Walk is on the 7th November (further details will be shown nearer the time on our website: www.walktalkaction.co.uk)

Tea & Toast with the wonderful PC Wall with us this week explaining how to contact them in non emergency situations and answering lots of queries and listening to the locals about issues within the community. This was a vital and extremely valuable drop in with lots of informative information given from both a Police perspective and community one too.

Thank you to Staffordshire Police for giving their time to join us this week, we do have the local PCSO dropping in quite regularly which is both lovely and reassuring to have this partnership.
