🧠 It’s Stress Awareness Week 🧘‍♂️
Stress affects us all at times, but chronic stress can impact both your mental and physical health. Taking small steps to manage stress can make a big difference.

💡 Tips to manage stress:
🔹 Take regular breaks and practise mindfulness.
🔹 Stay active – even a short walk helps.
🔹 Talk to someone you trust about how you feel.
🔹 Prioritise sleep and balanced meals.

If stress is affecting your daily life, we are always here with advice, support, or referrals to specialist services.
Remember: looking after your mental health is just as important as your physical health. 💙

🧠 Movember 2025: Let’s Talk About Men’s Mental Health
This Movember, we’re spotlighting mental health and su***de prevention, two critically important areas for men’s wellbeing, far too many men struggle silently.

👉 Why it matters:
• Many men face pressure to stay strong and “get on with it,” which can stop them from talking about how they’re really feeling.
• Saying something can make all the difference, helping to break down barriers, normalise conversations, and encourage support.
• Movember invests in projects that research and deliver mental health support, with a focus on early intervention and improving access to help.

🗣️ What we encourage you to do:
• Reach out, talk to a friend, partner, colleague or your GP if you’re struggling.
• Don’t wait for things to get worse, early help can help turn things around.
• Remember: you’re not alone and there is support available.

📞 If you or someone you know needs help, please contact us, or find support via Samaritans (116 123), or other local mental health services.
This Movember, let’s change the conversation. Let’s connect. Let’s support each other.

🩺 Do you know your blood pressure?
If you’re over 40, you could be one of millions with high blood pressure without knowing it. High blood pressure can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other serious health problems, but the good news is it’s highly treatable.

We recommend home blood pressure readings over a period of 7 days for the most accurate results, as blood pressure can rise during visits to the surgery. If you don’t have a monitor, don’t worry – you can borrow one from us! Simply ask at reception, and we can lend you a device to take home.
Once you’ve recorded your readings, you can submit them to us either on a form available at reception or via a link we can send to you through text.✅ Find a local pharmacy offering a free blood pressure check, no appointment needed, find a pharmacy here: qrco.de/benI0T

Checking your blood pressure is quick, easy, and could help protect your health.
