BIG Healthcare is now recruiting full-time Care Assistants to join their ever-growing team in Stoke On Trent and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities :

As Care Assistant you be expected to:

Ensure that our clients are encouraged and supported to remain as independent and active as possible
Ensure all care given is based upon the individual care assessment for each client and that the care plan is administrated to the highest standard.
Maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to the latest guidance and best practice.
Ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations, including those relating to cleaning materials with COSHH Regulations 1944.
Work closely with care coordinators to ensure the ongoing safety of our clients through systematic assessment, monitoring, and reviewing processes.
Ensure and maintain excellent communication with both carers and clients.
Be expected to conduct and promote a caring and supportive environment for clients through high standards of professional practice.
Be required to be On-call on some weekdays and weekends.
You will be communicating with professionals such as nurses and services, occupational therapists, who are involved in providing care and support
Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour, and professional appearance.

Essential / Desirable

Be able to bring an energetic and positive mindset to the team
Good written and verbal skills
Full driving license
Care Training

For International recruits we require
English test
IELTS
Police Clearance
Care Training
Drivers Licence for Manual car with 30 hours of driving in last 3 months
TB Test

Caring for the mind is as important and crucial as caring for the body. In fact, one cannot be healthy without the other. Your mental health matters.
