Come along to Smithfield Open Day on Thursday 24th July, 10am–3pm to view and explore the breast screening mobile unit.

It’s a great opportunity to meet the friendly team, see the mammography X-ray machine, learn more about breast screening and what it involves, and get advice about additional needs and reasonable adjustments for a positive experience.

Please note: NO screenings will take place on the day.

🅿️ Parking is available at the Smithfield Carpark or Tesco Extra for up to 2 hours. From Tesco, walk across Broad Street and along Morley Street to reach the unit.
Disabled parking is available on Warner Street via Broad Street.

📢 NHS Update: Changes to Bath and Shower Preparations

The NHS is advising GPs to reduce or stop prescribing certain bath and shower products for dry, itchy skin conditions like eczema. Research shows these products are no more effective than alternatives and may carry some risks.

Instead, leave-on emollients used as soap substitutes are still recommended.
