💙 Making NHS Healthcare More Accessible: What are Reasonable Adjustments?

Did you know that if you have a physical, sensory, or learning disability—or are autistic—the NHS is legally required to make reasonable adjustments to help you access care?
These are small, practical changes tailored to you, such as:

✅ Longer appointment times.
✅ Information in Easy Read or accessible formats.
✅ A quiet space to wait.
✅ Allowing a support person to be with you.
✅ A "flag" on your record to notify staff of your needs.

The Goal: To make sure everyone has equal access to healthcare.

👉 What you can do: Ask your GP or healthcare provider about putting a "Reasonable Adjustment Flag" on your records, so staff know how to support you every time you visit! 🏥
