Last weekend, our Safeguarding and Welfare Officer, Moira, attended the Strength in Depth UK Championships at the NEC Birmingham. ๐Ÿ‹ ๐Ÿ‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

This CrossFit event brings together elite athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts to celebrate their shared passion for sport and community.
Representing Together Active, Moira championed the importance of safeguarding and welfare in sport, promoting the physical, mental, and social well-being of everyone involved, from athletes and coaches to volunteers and support staff.

Creating safe, inclusive, and supportive environments in sport starts with awareness and we were so proud to be able to share the work of Together Active with those attending the event. ๐Ÿ’™

Weโ€™ve pulled together a list of fantastic local clubs and groups already making a difference; from Stoke City FC's Aiming High sessions to adapted skiing with Disability Snowsports UK. Plus, weโ€™re sharing tips for making activities more accessible.
