This season, it has been nothing short of an honour to stand behind Kyle John, a journey defined not just by results, but by resilience, purpose, and unwavering commitment.

From Round 1 to the FA Cup Quarter Finals, every step was earned:

Round 1: Port Vale 5–1 Maldon & Tiptree
Round 2: Port Vale 1–0 Bristol Rovers
Round 3: Port Vale 1–0 Fleetwood Town
Round 4: Port Vale 1–0 Bristol City (AET)
Round 5: Port Vale 1–0 Sunderland
Quarter Final: Port Vale 0–7 Chelsea

To reach this stage from Round 1 is no small feat, five consecutive victories, four of them decided by a single goal, built on discipline, structure, and belief.

To then step onto that stage and face Chelsea, Club World Cup Champions, is history in itself, a moment that reflects how far the journey has come, and what can be achieved through perseverance alone.

In the Stoic tradition, we do not measure success solely by outcome, but by the courage to endure, the discipline to persist, and the strength to stand firm in the face of adversity.

This journey embodied exactly that.

As the UK faces another winter crisis, we must ask ourselves: would you want your mum, nan, great grandmother, father, granddad, great grandfather, brother, sister, cousin — any family — to go through it?
