Apologies for the lack of posting. My weight hasn’t changed for months due to me being unwell since my last c diff infection.
Today is one year since my gastric bypass operation. I have done a weigh in and measure today along with new photos. I did toy with the idea of showing you the “real me” aka photos in just underwear to show my body below the clothes. Let me know if this is something you would like to see and I could take more photos.
Anyway, here’s my one year update.
Original weight : 19stone 12pounds/ 125.8kilos
One year weight : 12stone 6 pounds/ 78.92kilos
Total loss : 7stone 6pounds/ 46.88kilos that’s 37.41% of my weight lost.
Measurements:
Bust : start: 141.5cm
Bust : now: 107cm
Total loss: 34.5cm
Waist : start : 128cm
Waist : now: 87cm
Total loss : 41cm
Hips : start : 146cm
Hips : now : 110cm
Total loss : 36cm
Photos are of day one and today. As you can see there’s a huge difference. Overall I feel much healthier. My PCOS is still uncontrollable and my AS still flares but apart from that and my new bowel problems, life is good and I feel the benefits of being so much lighter. I finally saw my bariatric surgeon last Monday and he is over the moon with my progress. He’s asked me to maintain my weight and said I don’t need to lose anymore but when I had my gastric band 13 years ago I got down to 11st 8lbs so I would like to get back to that which means I need to lose another 12lb. I’m losing cms but haven’t lost weight since October. Hopefully when I get the new diagnosis for my bowels and they can give me something to help, the weight will start to come off again!
If you want to ask anything please feel free. I’m happy to answer honestly xx
