We’ve had lots of patients asking about Mounjaro which has been approved by NHS England for weight management. The eligibility criteria has been set but is strict and we are awaiting further information on how the programme will be rolled out.

We are aware this has been announced on the news but we have no further information to offer at this point. The eligible patients will be contacted in due course once the arrangements are fully in place.

You do not need to contact the surgery at this time.

Thank you

Attention Ladies!

📣 Cervical Screening Is Changing – Here’s What You Need to Know 💙

From 1 July 2025, there are two key updates to the NHS Cervical Screening Programme:

1️⃣ Screening every 5 years (instead of 3) for those aged 25–49 who test HPV negative at their next appointment

2️⃣ Digital invites and reminders will now be sent via the NHS App for quicker, more convenient access

Cervical screening saves lives – these changes help ensure it’s even more effective and accessible.

Today is World IBD Day.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) describes conditions that cause severe tummy pain and diarrhoea. It’s not the same as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), even though some of the symptoms may be similar.

The main types of IBD are Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Both are long-term conditions, but there are treatments that can help with your symptoms.
