Today marks Secondary (Metastatic) Breast Cancer Awareness Day - so please share and spread the word. While most breast cancers don’t come back after treatment, it’s important to know the signs and symptoms in case they do.

Speak to your GP or breast care nurse if you have any new symptoms that:
✅Are new or unusual for you
✅Don't have an obvious cause
✅Don't go away

What a lovely afternoon delivering my presentation 'Letting Photographs Tell Their Stories' for Pink Sisters and Misters at their first ever 'Let's Talk Cancer' event. We were joined today by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Stoke on Trent they were both really interested in all the work Pink Sisters are doing in the area and were very complementary about my presentation. If you would like to book a presentation please send a message - this is suitable for cancer support groups, health care professionals, within the work place, WI, camera clubs etc etc. face to face and online

🚨 Breaking science news 🚨

Our scientists have proven that exercise can help reduce the risk of colon cancer coming back.

This trial followed patients after they finished treatment, and gave three years of tailored fitness coaching to help them meet their exercise goals.

These weekly classes were specifically adapted to each person, giving the patients freedom to choose everything from brisk walks to cycling, swimming and beyond.

For 69-year-old-Margaret, it was transformative: “I’d never exercised before, but now I’m stronger, fitter, and my anxiety is better."

While the link between exercise and wellbeing has been known for a long time, this is a discovery that will help to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of people following bowel cancer treatment even more than previously thought.

Amazing work from everyone involved 🌟
