With the absence on this page for a while I’ve been working on a new business model for Train2Fitness moving forwards.
In the future I will be catering my Personal training and Sports therapy towards cyclists who want to improve their fitness levels and performance.
Also I am opening a small workshop for all your cycling and repair needs.
Services will include Bike service, repairs, upgrades, retro rebuilds and restoration and custom spec bike builds.
Everything I currently do under train2fitness will continue but just with a greater focus on cycling.

Are you counting on machines to track your exercise calories?
❌DON’T! - Here’s why👇🏻
📍When you use a machine in the gym it doesn’t know your age, weight, gender or heart rate! So therefore can’t accurately tell you how many calories your burning.
The two pictures below were taken from the same workout I did yesterday.
📍On the Bike it said I burnt 331 calories in just under 20minutes
📍On my watch it said I burnt only 502 calories in over 60 minutes (this knows my heart rate, age, height and gender)
🏋️So in most cases the machine can over estimate calories burnt.
🥗People on a weight loss diet using this figure to work out the calories they can eat in a day could be the difference between losing weight or even putting weight on!

Just because your not in your home town, doesn’t mean your workouts have to suffer. It’s easy to take your foot off the gas when on holiday.
Keeping a couple of workouts a week in will mean your progress won’t stall when getting back!
Not often you get the gym to yourself!
Found this little gem of a gym in Colwyn bay, it’s a tardis of equipment. Not quite but whilst I’m in North Wales it’s allowing me to keep on track.
