After much thought, I wanted to share that I will be leaving my registered managers role at Elizabeth House on the 15th May.

It has truly been a privilege to be part of such a special place. Caring for and getting to know our residents has meant more to me than words can say, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of their lives. I have also had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful families, whose support, kindness and trust I will never forget.

Elizabeth House will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will carry so many memories with me into the next chapter.

Your kindness, patience and dedication have helped create a lovely atmosphere as residents enjoyed opening their gifts from their families and from all of us at Elizabeth House Rest Home.

What a truly lovely Christmas celebration we’ve had at Elizabeth House. A huge thank you to our wonderful kitchen team for the delicious festive food, and to all of our amazing staff for creating such a warm, joyful atmosphere for our residents.

There was laughter, smiles, music and plenty of Christmas cheer, making it a very special day for the people who live with us. Moments like these really show the heart of our home. ❤️

Today our residents enjoyed a festive Music & Movement class filled with gentle exercise, Christmas songs and lots of smiles. 💃🕺

We sang along to our favourite carols, tapped our feet, stretched, laughed and got into the holiday spirit together. The room was full of joy, connection and a lovely bit of Christmas magic. ❤️🎶

These sessions are so important for wellbeing, helping residents stay active, engaged and uplifted — especially at this time of year.

Our lovely residents have been truly pampered today with a special visit from our wonderful hairdresser – and her adorable little companion, who brought twice the smiles and cuddles! 🐾💖

Fresh trims, styled hair, cups of tea, chatting, laughter… and a whole lot of feel-good moments. Because looking good and feeling good matters at every age. 🥰
