We’re so excited to share a little sneak peek of the progress so far in our brand-new pamper room here at Elizabeth House! 💆‍♀️💅

The space is already starting to feel calm and welcoming, with soothing colours, relaxing music, and some lovely touches that will make it a haven for our residents. 🕯️🌿

From hand massages and foot soaks, to calming lights and candles, Lizzie’s Lux Spa will soon be ready to offer our residents a truly relaxing experience. 💖

We can’t wait for you all to see the finished room — not long to go now! 🌟

🪔✨ Getting Ready for Diwali at Elizabeth House! ✨🪔

We are busy preparing for the Festival of Lights here at Elizabeth House. 🌸🎉
Our residents and staff are looking forward to decorating the home with beautiful lights, colourful designs and festive treats.

Diwali is a special time of joy, togetherness and celebration, and we can’t wait to share the festivities with our Elizabeth House family. Keep an eye out for our celebrations soon! 🌟💛

🌟 Elizabeth House Update – Our Journey So Far 🌟

Earlier this year, Elizabeth House Rest Home was placed into Special Measures after being rated Inadequate by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This was a challenging time for everyone, and we knew big changes were needed.

Since then, our team has worked incredibly hard to turn things around. We’ve strengthened our systems, provided extra staff training, and made sure residents’ safety and wellbeing are always at the centre of everything we do.

We’re proud to share that at our most recent inspection (June 2025, published in September), CQC recognised the progress we’ve made. Elizabeth House is now rated Requires Improvement overall, and importantly we are no longer in Special Measures. Even better — we now have 3 domains rated Good.

This is a huge achievement and shows that the dedication of our staff, residents, and families is making a real difference. Our next goal is to continue building on this progress so that we achieve a Good rating overall.
