๐ŸŒฑ Growing Together at Blurton Family Hub ๐ŸŒฑ

Parenting can feel like a lot to carry, and you donโ€™t have to do it alone. Our friends at Changes Health & Wellbeing are joining us for a special twoโ€‘week workshop designed to help parents and carers look after their own mental health while supporting their childโ€™s emotional wellbeing.

Across the two sessions, youโ€™ll explore simple, practical tools for communication, coping, and connection โ€” all in a calm, friendly space where you can share, learn, and feel supported. Youโ€™ll also discover what local mental health and family support services are available here in Stoke-on-Trent and how to access them when you need a little extra help.

๐Ÿค” This is a reminder that minor injuries are seen at the Haywood Hospital rather than the A&E at Royal Stoke.

๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ•– Haywood Hospitalโ€™s Walk-in Centre will be able to provide these essential services to the local community between 7am-9.30pm every day. ๐Ÿ•˜๐Ÿฅ

A wide range of conditions can be treated at Haywood Hospital for example:

โœ… Ear infections
โœ… Sprains and strains
โœ… Suspected broken bones
โœ… Bites and stings
โœ… Minor head injuries
โœ… Minor burns
โœ… Severe sore throats
โœ… Foreign bodies in the eye

โ—๐Ÿ‘‰ You should only attend A&E or call 999 for serious and life-threatening conditions such as severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, suspected strokes, chest pains or breathing difficulties.
