Permanent Hair Reduction
Why live with unwanted hair? Ingrown toenails.

Lasers and intense pulsed light systems offer a safe,
long-term solution to unwanted excess hair for both men and women. Treatment is
suitable for the face and body, is quick and results can be seen after just a few sessions. Red Vein Removal
Intense pulsed light (IPL) can provide a long term solution to facial problems such as thread veins, rosacea and red spots. As well as the face IPL is also

suitable for unsightly broken veins on the legs. Pigment Removal
Pigmented lesions such as age spots or freckles can be successfully lightened or removed with laser or intense pulsed light. All of the treatments are non invasive, suitable for both the face and body and will result in a more even skin tone. Treating Acne
Acne can be effectively treated with intense pulsed light alone or in combination with other clinical treatments. Intense pulsed light treatments greatly reduce the number and severity of active lesions, lessoning the inflammation and frequency of breakouts. Skin Rejuvenation
Intense pulsed light skin rejuvenation offers a solution for all the visible signs of aging caused by sun damage such as brown spots (pigmentation), redness (thread veins) and uneven skin texture. Omnilux TM Light Therapy
OmniluxTM light emitting diode (LED) therapy is a totally naturally and pain free light treatment for a wide range of skin concerns including acne, sun damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles and for general skin rejuvenation. We offer Chiropody services in Barlaston and across Staffordshire

Barlaston chiropody offers a complete foot care package:

General chiropody. This includes nail cutting, hard skin and corn removal. The treatment takes around 30 minutes and is finished with a foot massage with foot cream. Verruca and wart treatments. Warts on the feet are known as verrucas. We treat warts not only on the feet but also on the hands or body. The treatment used is cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen. The wart is frozen and then reviewed after about two weeks. Some warts are cleared after one treatment, but stubborn warts can take several freezes before they are cleared. The good thing about cryotherapy is that the wart does not need a dressing leaving on for days unlike with some acid treatments. Painful ingrown toe nails can be dealt with quite easily by simply cutting down the side of the nail removing the offending piece of nail. For deeper more painful ingrown nails a local anaesthetic injection is given into the toe enabaling the nail to be removed painlessly. Recurring ingrown nails can be prevented by removing the offending piece of nail and killing off the cells that produce nail with phenol preventing the nail growing back again. Fungal nails. A common problem causing the nails to thicken and become discoloured. They also become crumbly causing bits of nail to break off. The nail can be thinned down and cut back with advice on the best treatment to deal with them. Orthotics. Also known as insoles. These fit into the shoe and are worn to help correct problems such as dropped arches and feet that tend to roll in. Low Level Laser. Pain from soft tissue injuries such as muscle sprains, tendonitis and even some arthritic joint pain can be cured with a course of low level laser. The laser works by reducing the inflammation and giving pain relief therefore avoiding the need of taking anti inflammatory medication.
